Knitting has been part of my life since childhood. It started as a comforting presence, something warm and familiar passed down through generations. But it truly became essential during a difficult and stressful period in my adult life. That’s when I turned to knitting not just as a craft, but as a refuge — a space where I could breathe, slow down, and reconnect with myself. As I knit more and more, I realized I wanted to create patterns that reflected who I was: modern, textured, intentional. I couldn’t always find designs that matched my style and my values — patterns that were both bold and accessible, flattering on all bodies, and clearly explained. So I started designing my own. What began as a personal creative outlet grew into byDoumBaril — a collection of knitting patterns designed to inspire confidence and joy in every maker. I focus on clean lines, dynamic textures, and thoughtful details. My goal is to offer patterns that feel both modern and wearable, with instructions that are easy to follow and inclusive of all sizes.
